How can we Help?
Do I need to leave the house?
We do recommend vacating the house for 2-4 hours after general pest control treatments just in case a member of the household has a sensitivity to chemicals.
How long will my pest control treatment last?
Most treatments will last several months due to the residual properties of common spider and cockroach chemicals; however, rain and other factors can affect efficacy. Bug Busters has 3 month guarantees on most of our treatments. Ants can be a little harder to control due to the number of colonies under any one property. We will guarantee to greatly reduce their numbers and if you still have issues within 30 days, we will re-attend to treat again.
Are your pest managers licensed/insured?
All of Bug Busters pest management technicians are fully licensed, policed cleared and have working with children checks. Bug Busters carries comprehensive insurance policies due to our sensitive and government contracts around WA.
Is there anything I need to prepare before you attend?
For any domestic pest control treatments, we recommend your house and yard are generally tidy, with no washing on the line, pets removed, kitchen cupboards emptied out if we’re treating cockroaches, and goods removed from external walls if we’re carrying out a termite treatment.
What happens if it rains?
We try to schedule external sprays around the weather as best possible. If it is raining on the day of an external treatment, we will re-schedule. Heavy rain will affect the longevity of external treatments which is why it’s best to target the external areas around November.
Can I stay inside if you’re treating external areas?
Yes, you can stay inside if you have to provided that all the windows are shut. We do recommend vacating for 2-4 hours though.
What should I do with my pets?
It’s best to lock dogs and cats in the laundry if we’re carrying out full general pest treatments. If we’re only treating internally, they can be kept outside.
Can you guarantee the pests won’t return once treated?
Yes, we offer 3 month guarantees for most pests and 30 days for ants. We will also guarantee our termite treatments for up to 5 years depending on the chemical used and subject to annual termite inspections.

At intervals the house, ceiling and shed are are checked for termites. They have also dealt with wasp infestations and put rat baits in the ceiling..
