Mist or droplets can contaminate these items so always keep these items out of the way. This also includes things such as dog toys and scratching posts.
Cover up fish and birds – If you keep fish or birds around the house, put a cover over their tank or cage, such as a towel or blanket, before the treatment starts to prevent them coming into contact with mist or droplets. If you’re worried about the effects of chemicals on more exotic pets, contact your vet and ask for advice.
Ask about safe treatments – While some pest treatments are effective, they might not necessarily be safe for pets. Make sure you enquire about which treatment are safe for your pets and your family so you can be confident that you’re choosing the best option.
